With cases filled with books which were given by a relative, the young Sancho Bordaberri decides to open, in the postwar period, a modest bookshop in Getxo. Right after that, he received the complicity of Klodobike, enthusiastic and passionate woman. Basically, what Sancho wants is to be a writer of detective novels, but never manages to match his admired Hammett or Chandler and publishers will return all his stories. Until one day he receives the tenth rejected manuscript and realizes that the only murder that occurred in Getxo, before the war, is still unresolved.
